The ingredients, explained
A key nutrient for liver health. Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function, which is central to how your body processes alcohol.
One serving of Elixa contains 52mg of choline (9% of Adequate Intake). When consumed as part of a healthy and varied diet, choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function.
Niacin is a B vitamin that plays a role in energy metabolism and neurological function. A night out is hard work for your body. Niacin helps it keep up.
One serving of Elixa is a source of niacin (4mg, 25% of Recommended Dietary Intake). When consumed as part of a healthy and varied diet, niacin contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and is necessary for normal neurological function.
Pantothenic acid supports mental performance and energy production. We built this, in part, so your head is clearer the morning after.
One serving of Elixa is a source of pantothenic acid (1.5mg, 25% Recommended Dietary Intake). When consumed as part of a healthy and varied diet, pantothenic acid contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal mental performance.
Elixa also contains a proprietary blend of natural bioactives that work synergistically for maximum effect. Every ingredient is approved for use under the New Zealand Food (Supplemented Food) Standard 2016 and the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.
Safety and quality
Elixa is manufactured in Auckland, New Zealand, by a certified contract manufacturer. Every batch is tested before it leaves the facility, and meets the New Zealand Food (Supplemented Food) Standard 2016 and the Australia/New Zealand Food Standards Code. We test for microbiology, organoleptic quality, vitamin stability, and bioactivity. Elixa contains no known allergens and no artificial sweeteners or caffeine.
Our research approach
Elixa was developed by a team of biochemists and human health researchers. The process started with a detailed review of the published science on what happens to the body when it processes alcohol, and what natural ingredients have bioactive potential to support that process.
We reviewed 39 ingredient combinations before arriving at the current formula. We then carried out stability testing to confirm that the bioactivity was preserved in the final product, and real-world testing to validate the experience.
